Hi! My name is Lenea (say Renee with an L) and I am the owner and soapmaker at Crescent Mountain Soap. I am a second grade teacher and a mom to a wonderful son. I began Crescent Mountain Soaps with a desire to create a bar of soap that was free of unnecessary chemicals and yet full of great skin loving ingredients. Once I made that first batch of soap, the soap making bug had bitten and Crescent Mountain Soap was born. Made in small batches using natural and ethically sourced ingredients, Crescent Mountain Soap products include: soaps, lotions, bath fizzies, sugar scrubs, and men's beard products. Soaps and other products feature whimsical Georgia related names including “Down in the Holler, Southern Nights, Front Porch Swingin’ and Midnight in Georgia. Care is taken to create bath products that are used by our own family. Products are never tested on animals; however my own animals do enjoy the products!
Crescent Mountain Soap is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in beautiful northeast Georgia. I have an amazing view from my soap studio! The photo below was taken at sunset one evening while I was making soap. Although Crescent Mountain Soap is located in Georgia, my view is over South Carolina and back into Georgia! Sounds crazy doesn't it?!
