When you're down by the Chattahoochee River you smell certain smells: it's earthy, clean, and fragrant. I'm fortunate to live near the beginning of the Chattahoochee. We go kayaking on the river during the summer. There are a few rapids, but nothing really scary in the parts I kayak! When I smelled this herbal spa bar it reminded me of a day on the Chattahoochee.

Chattahoochee Breeze Spa Bar is made with pink Himalayan sea salt and scented with lavender, peppermint, and tea tree essential oil. (Future batches will also have rosemary - but guess who didn't realize they were out of rosemary before they started this batch of soap! ugh!) These spa bars have a luxurious feel to them and can be used on your body and/or face.

What's so special about Pink Himalayan sea salt? It is mined deep within the Himalaya Mountains and is mineral-rich. It formed in sea beds long ago... long before modern pollutants and is thought to be the purest salt on earth. The pink color comes from iron and other minerals.

Have you ever heard of the Lovin' Soap Project? It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that teaches women in underdeveloped countries the art of soapmaking. The Lovin’ Soap Project provides women with the skills and knowledge to make soap as a micro-business to support their families. As a result, women gain the ability to use excess soap from the process for hygiene. This helps them to prevent many hygiene preventable diseases. Crescent Mountain Soap is donating 10% of the sale of spa bars to the Lovin' Soap Project. You can check them out at http://www.lovinsoapproject.org/

The color is from a natural colorant - nettle leaf powder.

Soap is created using the cold process method.

Bars weigh approximately 4 oz. Each bar is individually cut causing a slight variation in size.
