Have you ever wanted to attend a folk school? I have! I love to learn new things. But I've never attended a folk school as a participant, only as an instructor. Once again Camp Mikell offered its spring Folk School and I was asked to teach soap making again.

Sometimes, you just have to stop and do something fun. And that's exactly what I did recently with my friend Jennifer Hack of Blacksnake Ranch and Ronda Reno of Cross and Thistle Apothecary! Jennifer and I have been friends for about 10 years. I met Ronda at local craft shows and events around northeast Georgia, where we both sell soaps, lotions, and other goodness. Do you remember the excitement of attending the fair when you were a kid? All the lights, sounds, rides, smells, exhibits, animals, and vendors made fair a very exciting time! I can remember walking around the fair as a kid. It seemed so huge!
